Needless to say...

I've not posted in awhile. And I've decided that, while this has been fun, I'm no longer going to be posting on this blog. I am just too busy, and my life is so insanely awesome... I don't need a blog to remind me that.

So, fare thee well! I may be back again... in the not-so-near future... or maybe not. We shall see.

7:00 AM- Katie reluctantly begins Government homework because the sun is now out.

8:20 AM- Motivational Red Wall Paint makes the shoutout board!
9:00 AM- Pure awesome.
5:00 PM- Fangirl time :) Brett Harris signed the MRWP. Then Joel Harris signed it, and he got to sign it next to Robin Mark so he took a picture :) THENTHENTHEN Shannon Harris, Josh's wife, who happens to sing for Sovereign Grace music including The Precious Blood, (and Christine really has no idea what all this is, so, yes, it is Katie hijacking) signed it too.
6:00 PM- Wendy's for dinner! sitting outside, and then this random old man came up to us and talked to us about Mennonite clothing and asked us if we were Mennonites and rambled some odd thing about modern women's clothing... o.0
7:15 PM- Leave for home. Katie attempts to do more Government. Snakes in the car. hehe.
9:05 PM- We both do homework. And talk. And Christine thinks she distracts Katie. But really Katie is just as distracting. Katie gets hungry.
10:00 PM- Sign on to Blogger.

OH. Bad thing with silver lining. No mime performance tomorrow. Major miscommunication. And so that's a bummer. BUT. We get to sleep in. Relatively. Like, 7:30 instead of 5:30. But it's still nice. And we still get to see all of our favorite people (read: mimes) at church tomorrow.

What could be more awesome??

Katie is spending the weekend at my house! Well, more like, she is sleeping at my house. She's coming tonight after mime. We are leaving at 5:30 to go to the DHT conference in DC. We will be getting home around 8ish, then leaving the next morning at 5:30 again.
So yeah. Pretty epic, ehh?

We played in church this morning for the school mass = fun.

THEN.

This evening we played at the youth kick-off/ rally for St. Stephens = AMAZINGLY AWESOME.
It was such a great night. We had a sound guy who kinda set all the technical stuff up for us, and we were all really, really loud and it was so much fun!

I wanna do this stuff forever. It is so amazing to be able to lead people in worship of Jesus. It's an incredible blessing that I'm able to be in a band like this. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Wednesday thru Friday morning we were out on our boat. It was an adventure. nuff said.

Friday was... so much fun. I've never laughed so much in one day. =P
two things especially...

we had our first youth group meeting for this year. it was crazy fun. Paulina was there! and Nate forgot all his notes at home. so we really got nothing done. between reminiscing about our confirmation, and making fun of Nate, Paulina and I were busting up the whole night.

and...

SWING!!! ohmy. between Doug and Rachel and Katie and Blake and Sarah and Drew I don't think I went 5 minutes without laughing. I love these guys. =)

So, yeah. To sum everything up, my life is pretty much awesome.

39 kt winds?

Oh yes. Fortunately though, that was only a gust. The wind stayed constant at about 25-30 kts the whole time we were out. It was a little more wind than we've ever had before. Make that a lot more wind. But, it was a good experience. And we are learning to trust our boat, which is also good.

Ok, so yeah. Haven't posted in a few days. But hey, school started; I have a legit excuse.

Sunday~ we went sailing!! and it was very pleasant. Sunday evening, we went biking around for a bit

Monday~ First day of school. Went pretty well. Planning for Sunday! =)

Today..... school; fine. went to Rocks. Awesome. Lots of fun. Beautiful day.

Today was awesome.

Went SHOPPING for fabric with Erin, Katie and Kristen. And we were crazy. We walked down to Peir 1 to try on some masks. So that was fun too.

THEN. We took lots of fun pictures on the computer. Using photobooth =)

AND!! I SAW BRITTANY AT THE ROBIN MARK CONCERT!!!

Sailing! (yes, again)

So, Blake came over today, and he, Michael and I went sailing.
We had a really good time, there was a decent amount of wind, and, once we got going, it was really smooth sailing.

Coming home, however, was a different story all together.
It was:

seaweed
and
algae
and
mud
and
wind & current in the worst direction
and
sand
and
2 inches of water
and
no water (pushing the boat over sand)
and
paddling
and
pushing
and
pulling.

To sum up, it was comic. Hilarious, in fact. We had quite an amusing time out there.

I'M STOKED FOR TOMORROW... AND WEDNESDAY... AND FRIDAY!!!

Last night I slept over at the Skaggs. Andee, Daniela and I had a great time... (iced tea pitcher, cats, loca...)

Then I went to church with them this morning, and yay! My friends make me smile. and make me happy. and I'm so blessed by them.

Came home, Michael and I cleaned (more fun, I'm not kidding :))

Then, I watched TV. :gasp: I almost never watch TV. BUT. A Deadliest Catch marathon is going on. So. yeah. end of story. =) great show. very awesome.

Sailing!

Mom, Michael, Mitchell and I went sailing yesterday... paddled for a bit. We had a good time, and actually, when there was enough wind, we were going at a good clip.

I also made cookies yesterday. yum!

yay!!!

Totally spontaneous... we went sailing this evening. Lots of fun... cept for when we had to pull our 14ft boat thru seaweed. But we had a good time. =)

recovery week =)

Well... Sunday was great. all of it. very good day.

Monday.... my recovery day. Talked on the phone... my friends are the best. hands down. THE best. EVER.
God has definitely given them to me to help me out... I don't know what I'd do without them. =)


Tuesday... again... didn't do much. Drove some... need about 11 more hrs. Sheesh, its taking me awhile to get all of them.

Wednesday... well, today's not over yet... going through old pictures made me smile... and reading good books!

CYMA OUTREACH!!!

Part one was today.
and it was spectacular.

All the kids were amazing. and it was great!

And I got to hang with some awesome people... and see some awesome presentations... and sing some awesome songs... and worship an Awesome God.

and I had freeze pops. and wore a very fun skirt. and I'm, like, deliriously happy/hyper right now (12 hrs sleep)!!

and I only need 13 more hours of driving for my license... yay?

and more awesome stuff for tomorrow(church, outreach part two, RISK, etc.)

CYMA is over. For the most part, anyways. We still have the outreach today, and the services on Sunday. But the camp is done.

We had a great week. Loooooonnnnnnnng week. Very long. But it was good.

and I got 12 hours of sleep last night. :) So, I feel much better now.

I'm gonna miss seeing all the campers (and LiT's and Leaders) everyday... we had so much fun.

I'm still alive.....

I really, truly am. I just haven't been here in awhile. Last week, (June 27-July 3) was my mission trip. It was incredible. We all had an amazing time. It was epic.

Yesterday was epic. It was so great.

There is something totally fantastic about being in a pool, at ten o'clock at night, watching a bonfire.

FRIENDS and MIMES and PHOTOS!!!

Yesterday was aMAZing! We had so much fun.

Lindsey and Katie and the Yergers all came over.... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!

Had a blast taking pictures down at the dock... will post some of them when I get them. =)

Then, we went to the mime concert. AWESOME. Everyone did a GREAT job. and I got to see all of my friends. After the concert, a bunch of us went to Cold Stone. That was... emm... hilarious. For lack of a better word. Tons of fun.

Today, I am packing. Tomorrow we are leaving for NC, and three days (ish) after we get back, I'm leaving for my mission trip.


YAY! I'm soo happy. I LOVE my friends.

the bike ride this morning was not fun. it hurts. everything hurts. I hadn't been on a serious bike ride for about a year and a half, because of my knees. So, 20 miles wasn't really fun. =\

Happy thing - I have a new favorite song. My Wish- Rascal Flatts. The 8th grade SJA class did this song for their graduation today... I like it very muchly. =)

Rollerblading!

This evening, Erin and I biked and roller-bladed to the library to get a movie.
Erin biked, and I roller-bladed.
But then I got tired. And got towed. I held on to the bottom of Erin's bike seat, and she pulled me along. We got lots of weird looks from people. It was awesome. =)

We watched Sense & Sensibility... cute movie, but not one of my favorites.

I'm getting up at 6:30-7 ish tomorrow to go biking. And that time was changed from 6. =P

Yup! this is number 100.

Swing last night was... pretty much perfect.

Some highlights from last night were:

~talking... and more talking. I love my friends. =)

~making signs to hang on the doors.

~ hanging out with some of my favorite people.

~watching the Chair Skit. (performed in skirts and heels. they did a great job, of course!)

~God. and God-things. and friends who love to talk about God-things. =)

This morning, bright and early(for some of us), I went to our mission trip's flapjack breakfast fundraiser. TONS of fun! I'm really looking forward to spending a week with all these people, they're lots of fun!

... and I'm still effervescent. Swing generally makes me effervescent, but it carried over till today this time.

Well, the great news. I bought a swim suit today! :gasp: (not just any swim suit, a non-swim team swim suit. The last one I had was from, like, 4 years ago. =P)

And... you'll never guess where I bought it. The only reason I looked was because we were in the area, and I wanted to give it a shot.

Never would've thought that I could find a decent swim suit there... but I did! And it's really cute too.

so.... I'm very happy. =)

Les Miserables...

Watched Les Miserables tonight... I really, really enjoyed that movie.

I'm home. . .

Safe and sound and slightly sunburnt.
and I'm not totally thrilled to be back. I could've stayed another week.

My favorite part of the trip, probably... (along with seeing the Edwards- Nicole is 13, and Alexis is 12; the dinghy rides- very fast and wild; and The Bean- very yummy) were the Sunfish.

Sunfish, in case you don't know, are small sailboats for one or two people. Alexis and I took one out, and Michael took out another.

While sailing in the Sunfish was lots of fun... there was an activity far more exciting and fun... capsizing!

Michael capsized once, and Alexis had to jump in to help him right it.
Then, Alexis and I capsized three times, and I was dumped overboard once with her, and then once when I got in the Sunfish by myself (don't ask. :P).

All in all, we had a great time. And there are lots of more fun stories, but I don't feel like typing it all out. So maybe you might get to hear some in person. =)

Anyhoo. We went to the Medieval Festival yesterday at Stepping Stone museum. It was great. Andee and I couldn't get henna, but we still had fun. Blake showed up, some time later, and Daniel showed up after that. So we had a great time. And the car ride home was... umm... interesting too. :P

Then we went to Rita's, and got Gelatis. (My computer doesn't like that word.) We started walking home... and it rained. So, we hitch-hiked. Sort of.

We admired the awesome thunderstorm. Twas really cool. :P

Then we watched The Hunt for Red October... ate cookies... and popcorn.

And guess what else we did?? It's four letters, rhymes with walk... I bet you'll never guess... :P

As of now the four ... er ... TWO of us are having lots of fun. More of that secret business that you will never guess.

Confirmation & Cookout

Yesterday evening was our Confirmation. Had lots of fun hanging out before the ceremony with Paulina, Cat and Nate. Afterwards, a bunch of friends came over for a cookout. But, it was really, really, windy, so we mostly stayed inside.

The two highlights of the evening, for me, was

eating cookie dough


and playing CatchPhrase... I was laughing so hard... Oh my. It was awesome.

I love this weather. Yesterday... was funn.

I went canoeing with Michael and mom and Taz... and Michael and I dropped mom and Taz off at an island... then he jumped off... proceeded to splash me... until I got it too. (we were both in our clothes, well, he had taken his shirt off, then I threw it in the water, then at him. =P) It was realllllly nice. We had been all hot and sweaty from working outside all day... So we swam around... had a mud fight... and then, instead of getting the inside of the car all wet, cuz we both were dripping... we decided to walk home. Barefoot. It was awesome. =)

Okay, so last night was great. TONS of fun!! Swing is awesome.

Today was awesome too. Rachel was beautiful... and her dress was gorgeous. And I saw lots of my favorite people. And we danced (A very swingy waltz. lol) but it was FUNNNN!!!!

drove up to PA. And home (most of the way).

Okay, so this part is gonna be for yesterday...

I went to Nicole's birthday party... she rented her school gym, and had a DJ. It was AWESOME!!!! My feet were soo sore from dancing afterwards. We started dancing at like 6:30... and danced until my dad picked us up at 10. It was soo much fun!!!

And today... I went to Mt. Zion, and saw all my awesome friends!!! And then Blake and Mitch and Michael and I hung out and then Erin got home and we taught (ish) Blake how to play Pinochle and we walked down to the park.

Saturday was -
sleeping in till almost 11 (friday night was rough)
doing nothing all day =)
going to a dress rehearsal for the Palm Sunday program at our church.
Golden Corral for dinner!! (huge buffet, in case you don't know...)

Sunday was -
~waking up 30 minutes later than I wanted... but only was 2 minutes late to church. But since I just had to be downstairs by nine, it didn't really matter for me.
~getting downstairs to find a hot breakfast(which was nice, cuz I didn't eat earlier.)
~hanging out with Nate and Paulina and Rosalie and Ali and Joe (and lotsa other people) before the program.
~the actual program, which was us kinda posing and acting out what this woman was narrating... but it was sooo fun ny.
~afterwards..... surprising Paulina with a card and balloon for her birthday
~ ((hugs)) i <3 hugs. they make me smile.
~going to the Cheesecake Factory with Andee and Michael(Cooper) and all of Andee's family.

So, today wasn't really that great. I'm feeling a lack of socialization. (gasp! I know, coming from an introvert, that's really weird, but I would have liked to at least gone out of the house.)

Today was fun, in a surprising sort of way. I hadn't planned on doing much, but my day was quite filled with unplanned fun stuff.

This morning, Nate and I were doing music for the kids at the thing at our church, and the dvd player short-circuited or something, and it wouldn't play. SO, Nate and I got up on stage and improvised. We had to do some type of easy song with hand motions so we sang 'Lord I Lift Your Name On High'. We had a blast! The kids kept wanting us to do it faster and faster, so it was quite amusing.

And, Blake stopped by at church today. Funny how it always happens when we go to the early service, but I went again (can't hurt, right?) and we had a fun time hanging out and stuff.

And and... I <3 emails... specially those that make you really happy!

And and and... I'm writing a letter to Hannah. HI HANNAH!!! I haven't seen her in forEVER!!!

And and and and... my life is just sooo great right now. It's totally everything I want it to be!

It's been a week...

exactly since I last posted. I can offer no excuse, except for the fact that I've been busy. But it's been an incredible, awesome, smilely, effervescent week.

Tuesday
was class at HCC. fun. After swimming, I can home to find a friend whom I had not seen in a while. She and her mom came down from PA for a meeting my mom was hosting. And fun emails.

Wednesday
Swim practice was a blast. We were on our taper, and it was just SO much fun. It was probably one of my favorite practices. =)

Thursday
went shopping with my mom. and got a soft pretzel and an icee! Also, I practiced parallel parking. It was my very last swim practice. :sob: I'm gonna miss those kids. hehe... Also, we found out at that practice that TK listened to Cascada before he swam. lol.

Friday
... I was going crazy. Had waaaayyy too much energy. One look at me would show you that. I had my hair is two messy buns on the top of my head, and had big hot pink earrings in. It was sweet! Also, Friday night was a shave-down night.
hehe.

Saturday
Wake up at 5:30. SWIM MEET!!!!! Had soooooooooooooooo much fun. Went back to the hotel to chill. Mom and I watched Get Smart. THE funniest movie. Then went to The Olive Garden, and went and cheered on everyone at finals. More fun than I can express in words.

Sunday
Repeat saturday. x 100. yeah. that much fun. We got home and I had more fun and then we went to the Celtic Concert..... and I saw Katie and Andee and Blake and Livi and Colin and Mark and Andrea and Sarah and had fun. and was blessed. and was super happy. and ecstatic. and

Monday(Today)
Got an invitation to a wedding today. Talked on the phone with Katie for about an hour and a half. =) and I'm still sooo happy. And I <3 fun emails. and I bought about 10 new songs on iTunes today. yay!

Last night was incredible.

I feel so blessed.

Seriously, there is nothing more awesome than worshiping and awesome God with awesome people.

What could be more awe-inspiring than being with your best of friends, praising a God who is mighty enough to deserve all the praise in the universe, yet small enough to know your every feeling and desire?

Last week was a tough week, physically and emotionally, and last night was just, so perfect!

And, we played in church today... Blake and the Skaggs came (!!) then we went out for muffins w/ the Skaggs... and our grandparents are here now... swimming this evening...

Yeah. I watched The Hunt for Red October today. THE best movie. Hands down. EVER. (Warning - Check with your parents before you watch it. Yeah, yeah, I know it's PG, but there is a LOT of language for a PG movie.)

Then I went to swimming... hehe. I was doing this set of 10x50's. sub 35 seconds. At the end of practice. I touch the wall after the last 50, and TK shouts'Holy Crap! That was AWESOME' :smile: that made me pretty happy. (NB -My apologies if the word crap offends you. I just had to quote him directly)

Then, we went and picked Erin up from mime. Well, Erin, Andee, Danielle and Mitch.
And I saw Katie and Blake and Sarah and Livi and Sandy and Mark... but didn't have nearly as much time with them as I would have liked. =)

Then we went to pick Michael up from Scouts, got their early, so I got to hang out a bit with some people.

Oh boy... I had an effervescent day!!!

So, it started at 8:15 when we left for church. After the first service there is this discipleship program that is from 9:30 -11:00. I help out with the K-5th grades, and Erin is actually in one of the small groups.

Fun stuff today was. . .

Nate. Oh my. He was trying to get his disciple tunic on. It was made for a 12 year old. He's 18. So it was quite amusing. Then, he found this silver, shimmery tunic and tied the sleeves around his neck, and was 'superhero disciple John.'

We had an unexpected visitor at church. He came for the 11:15 service. We were planning on getting picked up at 11, because we had already been to church. So, Erin and I stayed for the second service.

Then, when we got home, we showed off the puppies for about 30 seconds, then had to leave for a party. One of my mom's kids that she works with was turning three, and we were all invited to go. He and his two older brothers (four year old twins) have to be the CUTEST boys ever. So, that was lots of fun.

Nicole made me smile (actually, jump up and down) because she had seen Arthur on Saturday at Delaware States
Ian. Was. Hilarious.

I HATE MY BEST FRIEND!!! IT IS THE MOST AWFUL PIECE OF SWIM EQUIPMENT

Oh, and my dad got me a salad from Pat's on the way home. Perfect way to end a great weekend. (Well, not really end. I still have to work on this stupid rigmarole... grr... and yes, I'm late, but this is the first I've been home all day for more than 30 minutes.)

Going to sleep. Welll, actually, the movie ended at 2:30... somehow, we managed to force ourselves to stop talking at 4:30, so we might possibly be able to get the required (not really..lol) 6 hours of sleep.

In the morning, (and yes, we did get 6 hrs of sleep) calculating that we spent 12 hours together (not including sleeping) and STILL didn't get to finish talking about everything.

Swim practice. Need I say more?

Going shopping at a thrift store in Elkton. Got two skirts and three tops(!!!)

So, today after class, we played cards. Like, Hearts and Pinochle(that was reeaally hard to explain =P) and other games too. We had a good time, just hanging out and joking around and talking and stuff.

Swimming and Sleepovers!

So....
swim practice today was awesome! There were only three of us there, and we each had our own workout...Maddie and Ian had to leave early, so I did the bungee at the end of practice....with paddles and a pull buoy. For those of you who don't know what this is, it's a long bungee chord tied around your waist, and you have to swim to the other end of the pool. In my case, however TK(who's real name is Taggart something...lolz) made me pull it. So it was hard. But lots of fun.

AND AND...We're going over to Katie's house tonite...plan to watch Pirates 3! Yay! AND AND, I'm going to JoAnn's tomorrow.

Ooh! Also, yesterday, I figured out how to turn off Google Buzz!!! Yay! It was really getting annoying with all the emails it kept sending me....lolz.

Casting Crowns and Kutless concert!!!

It was sooo awesome! They both did an incredible job, and had a great combination of rocking upbeat songs, and (slightly) slower, really powerful, moving songs.

I'm posting this today for yesterday, cause we didn't get back to Katie's house until 11:40 (after much fun in the car with gps and noons and evenings..lol) and pretty much(hehe) went right to bed.

Anyways, had a great time with all of my indescribably awesome friends!

got milk?

So.

Our coach took us off dairy today. TODAY!!! With, like THREE weeks until our meet!

Yeah. No milk, cheese, ice cream, ect.

Why? you might ask? Well, he believes that dairy will create mucus and clog up your lungs, making it harder for you to breathe. We go with that. It's also a team building thing. We all complain and whine and make a huge deal out of it, and just have a lot of fun. AND we have hats!

AND AND AND....

Annabeth Chase: I definitely have strong feelings for you. I just haven't decided if they're positive or negative yet.

Yeah, I went to see Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightening Thief today w/ Andee, Mitch, Michael and Erin.

It was actually a good movie. I mean, I didn't have high expectations for it, cuz the main characters in the book are twelve years old. In the movie, however, they are 16/17 years old, and all in all, we had a good time.

I would totally recommend it, even if/especially if you haven't read the books.

I was planning on making a dress

Our neighbor just stopped by to give us some bread.
He has a relation that works at Panero's, so he gets lots of free bread.

He gave some to us.

SNOW!!!

Most of you know that we have a side porch and steps on our house, right?

Well, with almost 2 ft of snow on those steps...

Michael and I made a ramp.

it was crazy.

The only thing we had to worry about was not smashing into the concrete wall, but it was easy to bail out before we hit it. =)

We also had a massive snowball fight. See, when the snowplows come and plow our street, they leave these huge piles of snow.
and it is semi-frozen.

Put them together, and well, it's perfect.

Yup!

One of the moms on our team made a TON of pasta salad for the meet today(which was canceled).
So, she brought it to practice, and after we were finished swimming, we all ate PASTA!!!!!

It was great...

oh,yeah! So, we all went into the locker room, but I wasn't finished w/ my pasta(2nd helping), so I took it in the shower w/ us. It was a riot.

So...fun stuff today...

Shakespearean insults are the best! =) We had heaps of fun insulting each other today. If you want a list of them, let me know =)


Also, I got yelled at today by my swim coach...

...for not smiling.

See, the past few days have been kinda rough, and I've been kinda down during practice.
So he came up to me after practice and was like,
"You!"
"Yeah?"
"You need to stop glaring during practice! Every time you come into the wall, you have this totally blank expression on your face, and you need to relax and loosen up a bit...you're usually pretty cheerful, but the past two days you look like you're about to kill someone."
"Yeah, well, the past few days have been, well, kinda rough."
"Swimming wise, or personal stuff?"
"Well, some of both, really..."
"Ok, well, if there's anything I can help you with, or you wanna talk about, let me know."

This made my day. Actually, it made my week. Knowing that someone cares and is there for me to talk to, and who knows what I'm talking about (as far as swimming goes; all of my goals, frustrations, ect..) is a nice thing, especially if you're around that person all the time :)

AND AND AND....
Erin's mime performance is June 11th.
The ACCS event is not that weekend.

Has anyone ever told you something you did was beautiful?

It just carries you right through the rest of the day, especially if you don't get compliments from that person very often.

So, y'all might think this is a little weird...

The set was a 1000 freestyle, negative split. (That means that the second 500 had to be faster than the first 500.)
My one friend and I were the only ones swimming this set, and we, well, lets just say we rocked that set.

TK is like," You girls did an incredible job with that set...that was beautiful...just awesome..."

=)

The feeling you get after doing a set like that, well, you feel like you can do anything...it's great!

Tacos in Bag!!

Swim meet today in Ellicot City, at Howard County YMCA.

It was crazy awesome.

The 13&over medley relay. We rocked!

Umm...about, 4:30, I think it was...they postponed the meet.

Someone had thrown up in the pool. He had eaten three tacos in a bag, then swum his event.

Tacos in a Bag - A bag of Doritos, with chicken and beans and lettuce and cheese and salsa on top.

It was gross. They poured chlorine in the pool, to try and shock it.

But, they ended up canceling the meet.

It was hilarious! My one friend, when we told him that the meet was canceled, started jumping around. and we were are like,"Go Tacos in a Bag!!!!" and going all crazy.

Then, my friend bought a Taco in a Bag.
HAH!!!

Strategy...Point of Fatigue...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I know.

The two things in the title are totally weird. But bear with me.

Strategy ~
My brother got a new Civil War game for Christmas called A House Divided
So, yeah.
For those of you who don't know us well, my brother was Union, and I was Confederate.
It was fun.
I won. By capturing Washington D.C.

Then, we played RISK. Actually, we are still in the middle of it, as I had to leave for swimming. But I'm winning.

Point of Fatigue~
Well, TK gave us the HARDEST practice tonight.
He said, once you reach that point of fatigue, it's great. Nothing feels good, but nothing hurts anymore. You can go out and kill yourself(in the pool, he means), and you won't feel a thing.

But, until you push yourself, physically and mentally, through that point of fatigue, you won't know just how much pain you can handle.

No pain, no gain!

heh.

TK was like, "You guys hate me yet?" "Oh yeah" "Good. That's why I'm here."
This guy, he's like, 22, a senior in college. He can make you do anything...

I told TK,
"Can you bring the trashcan a little closer? I'm gonna need it after this set."He replied,
"I'll bring it over when you're done. If I get it now, it might look like I'm working you until you throw up. I'm not supposed to make you do that, but if it comes up as a byproduct, then, well, it means you're working hard enough...for now."

I never technically threw up, really, nothing came out.

But it was the BEST practice I've ever done.

But, though I am quite mentally awake...my muscles are screaming at me, so I'm going to bed.

Customer Service and Grocery Shopping

Two especially funny things today.

1) Our Rosetta Stone was not working so my mom called customer service.

*Background Info - we have a huge joke about people in Customer Service...that they don't know what the are doing, and that, the majority of the time, they don't even live in the US(My grandfather says it's "Customer Circus").*

Anyways, so my mom was calling them, and it's a long story, but first there was this guy speaking Portuguese, and I was laughing so hard that I was crying, and mom couldn't hardly spell her name.

I guess it's kinda like you had to be there to really think it was funny. I'm weird like that.

2)So, we were doing one of those self-checkout things at the grocery store.
And, it kept blinking and telling my dad"The Bagging area is full. Please bag your items" over and over and over again.

It was hilarious. Everyone was staring. HAHA (Another one of those, you-have-to-be-there-to-really-get-type things)

It's a good thing I had those funny moments today - I feel awful right now. My shoulders are screaming and my knees and back and aching. Swimming is rough.

I am writing this in the company of Katie. Katie has her OWN Optimism Initiative (yay!)

Where do we start.

um.

well, let's just say.... Swing is AWESOME.

and

we watched some friends play RISK (and one got pretty much demolished)

and

we daaaannnced!

and

we were the objects of a *certain bet*

made by *certain "well-meaning" friends*

about which of the two of us would dance more with

*certain unnamed parties*

...we tied.

(I COULD HAVE WON! HAH!)

just kidding.

now, we are going to

a) paint our faces blue,

b) eat fried hedgehog,

c) and watch Phantom of the Opera

(if you picked c, you might possibly have been correct)

we may post again later... sometime in the morning, most likely... whether it will be before or after sunrise is uncertain.

Quesadillas!

Okay, so my brother made quesadillas for dinner tonight. They were GREAT, by the way.

So, when I came home from swimming, I made myself a burrito out of the leftover veggies and chicken that go in the quesadilla. So, I'm loading up this tortilla with all this stuff, and I decide to use all the leftover veggies. (Bad idea #1)

So, after I microwave it, I attempt to roll it up. (Bad idea #2) The result was disastrous. There were vegetables and drippy stuff all over the table.

Of course, my sister just stood there and laughed at me. I have to admit, it was quite funny, to see me holding this tortilla that was split down the center, and veggies and chicken everywhere. =)

EDIT: Erin just found a piece of a tortilla in her hair! haha

Another funny thing ~ A piece of paper fell off the dining room table, and I leaned over in my chair as an attempt to retrieve it. My attempt failed. I ended up on the floor right next to the piece of paper...
